Opening of the Iris Garden

24 April - 20 May. Traditional opening of the garden at Piazzale Michelangelo, on the occasion of the blooming of the Iris, symbol of the city of Florence. From 13 to 18 May takes place also the 57th international competition for the best varieties of the Iris (awards ceremony on the 18th of May in the Palazzo Vecchio).

Norma e capriccio. Spanish artists in Italy in the early mannerist period

5 March - 26 May. The exhibition highlights the artistic exchange during the Renaissance between the great Spanish painters and sculptors on the one hand and Florentine/Italian artists on the other  hand. Ticket also includes access to the Uffizi Gallery.
