Gelato Festival 2013

From the 17th to the 19th of May: show cooking, meetings, workshops, tastings, cultural itineraries with ice cream masters and vips. Events take place in the most beautiful squares of Florence.

'Artigianato e Palazzo'

16 - 19 May. In the beautiful Giardino Corsini in Florence, over one hundred of the most extraordinary and capable regional, national and international craftsmen. Also with demonstrations of the techniques for processing iron, glass, wood, fabric, precious stones and metals.

Opening of the Iris Garden

24 April - 20 May. Traditional opening of the garden at Piazzale Michelangelo, on the occasion of the blooming of the Iris, symbol of the city of Florence. From 13 to 18 May takes place also the 57th international competition for the best varieties of the Iris (awards ceremony on the 18th of May in the Palazzo Vecchio).

Fabbrica Europa

2 May - 19 June. 20th edition of the international festival dedicated to contemporary theater, dance, visual arts. Also with lectures and workshops.

Samurai! Japanese armour from the Stibbert Collection

29 March - 3 November. Armour, decorated helmets, blades and samurai outfits belonging to the Stibbert Collection.

Norma e capriccio. Spanish artists in Italy in the early mannerist period

5 March - 26 May. The exhibition highlights the artistic exchange during the Renaissance between the great Spanish painters and sculptors on the one hand and Florentine/Italian artists on the other hand. Ticket also includes access to the Uffizi Gallery.
