Contact Centre for Florence and surroundings: 055 055

The Contact Centre provides information on specific matters such as opening hours, offices and services provided by the City of Florence. Calls are put through to the relevant office to deal with citizens' special requests and to register complaints and suggestions. Operators also give information on how a previously made request is being dealt with.

The Contact Centre is open Monday to Saturday from 8 am till 8 pm.

URP - Offices for Citizen Relations

The U.R.P. (Citizens Relations Offices, Ufficio per le Relazioni con il Pubblico) has both a 'front office' and 'back office' that work closely together. The front office deals directly with the public in several locations across Florence. The back office on the other hand takes care of the incoming requests.

Citizens and visitors can go to any of the U.R.P. offices across Florence in the following situations:

• to acquire information about public services or about the agencies and associations which make up the civic network;
• to get into contact with those responsible for certain procedures;
• to exercise the right to have access to administrative deeds and documents;
• to obtain forms necessary for the use of particular services;
• to hand in requests relating to other services (e.g. job applications, hunting permits, requests made to T.I.A., etc);
• to make suggestions, point out problems, file complaints, proposals and present petitions.
