Health Services

Local medical centres and health services
The City of Florence public health service is run by the following three companies:

• Azienda Sanitaria di Firenze (ASL), which includes the hospitals Santa Maria Nuova, Nuovo San Giovanni di Dio (Torregalli), Santa Maria Annunziata (Ponte a Niccheri - Bagno a Ripoli), Serristori (Figline), Ponte Nuovo and Orbatello;
• Azienda Ospedaliera Careggi (AOC), which includes Careggi hospital and the Centro Traumatologico Toscano (CTO);
• Azienda Ospedaliera Meyer, which includes the pediatric hospital.
